In June of 2021, Harvest Hosts and Boondockers Welcome mingled services for a comprehensive list of places to stay for self-contained RVer's. There are approx. 5,000 hosts to choose from which includes private properties with 3 out of 4 hosts offering electric hookups as well as choices of botanical gardens, wineries, ranches, museums, and farms. $99/year for the Classic Plan/ $139/year for golf courses, spas and country clubs

Discounts on camping, RV parks, retail shops, fuel, shipping, propane, dump services and trip planning. Memberships

These clubs offer a great way to save money and meet fellow RVer's. And most offer extended discounts to other affiliated organizations. The plan for us is to do 25% boon docking (free) such as BLM locations (Bureau of Land Management), Harvest Hosts, staying with friends (if you have room), 25% RV park ($50.00/night), and 50% state parks as well as U.S. Army Corps of Engineers sites ($35.00/night). We spent a lot of time & energy pulling together our resources to help us budget better. I'm sure as time goes on, we'll be patting ourselves on the back for making the good choices but also kicking ourselves for the poor ones. Which ever way it turns out, it's all about learning and doing.
