Day 278


Short and sweet…..nothing to report in Tallulah Falls, GA except preparing tax stuff, making a grocery store run and taking a few campground walks. Now about those walks…...The main road running parallel to the river, that leads to our campsite, makes for quite an interesting night walk. Even Sadie found it peculiar. There are several points, dimly lit, that make you stop in your tracks because they look so real. One is a farmer chillin’ and makin’ moonshine, a group of panthers with snarling faces, a makeshift mineshaft, a wishing well, a bear and across the river, a deer on top of a picnic table. The place is funky, but we love that kind of atmosphere. It certainly leaves an impression.
