CornHole or Grandma Time?

Day 14

It felt so good to get the trailer more dialed in today. I spent the day organizing our new spice jar sets, the medicine chest, vacuum sealing our clothes bags and reorganizing the food pantry. Jeff had a few things to get at the automotive store (a telescoping mop to clean the outside of the RV, back up fuses, and some wrenches). He also finished switching out the standard battery to our new lithium batteries. All that’s left is connecting it to the solar panel.

Had a great time catching up with my bestie, Michele, about her trip to Lake Tahoe and trying out her new inflatable paddle board. I’ve always thought those things are pretty cool. And it’s convenient as you can carry it like a backpack. Hannah and Devin, and Carson came over to cook for us. Hannah made a delicious tomato/cream/spinach sauce for the baked chicken, and a little pilaf on the side. Jeff and Devin got in a few rounds of cornhole, while I got some grandma holding time.

Then we played in teams, Jeff and I against Hannah and Devin.

After witnessing a few of my warm-ups, Jeff asked if he could have a new partner. :-/ Another great evening of being together. There was a light drizzle/light rain tonight so we had to batten down the hatches before bed, of which included closing the ceiling fans (an easy thing to forget, especially when away for the day only to come back to a wet mess).
