Day 45

Jeff is heading to Red Rock Canyon State Park while I stay back with Sadie, working on our blog. Temperatures were supposed to be in the 100-105 range. So much for getting out of the heat. He said the strangest thing was when he got out of the car, there was not a bit of sound, no people, no wind, no cars, just silence. It sounds lovely except for the heat. He did get some cool shots.

Reminds me a little bit of Bryce Canyon in Utah, but not quite as stunning.

I accomplished a ton on our website with just a few more setup pages to go, then the editing and posting. Hopefully we can launch early next week.

In the early evening, Sadie and I did a much needed hour jaunt while Jeff called his sister Karen (it had been quite a while). Karen and husband Brian have been spending a lot of time at the Blue Lake Springs cabin with like minded cabin owners trying to enjoy their summer getaway with the pandemic going on. Since many people are not traveling and alternatively staying home, cabin vacationing is the next best thing. Evidently there are a lot of cabins under construction too. The real estate world is quite busy at the moment.

Noticing our Argentinian neighbors were having issues with one of their tanks, Jeff asked if he could help. For some reason they haven’t been able to fill their fresh water tank. After 30 minutes of troubleshooting and not being able to figure it out, the decision was to go to YouTube or Google for a solution hopefully.
